When you mess with a culture, there comes a time when the consequences will bring forth a bounty full of compounded rotting results.
Science has always dabbled in culturing stuff, usually in and on the confines of a Petrie dish. The results have produced great leaps forward and disastrous steps back. But what happens in the lab doesn’t quite affect a National Cultural psyche in the same way as a direct invasive obliteration of one culture by a foreign other.
It’s one thing to drag a group of people up a spiral staircase of global economic inevitability. It’s quite another to inflict, against their will, its brutal non emotional rationale, while at the same time destroying their belief system and cutting their generational life lines.
The theory of Colonialism is very well defined, its practice easily observed in human history, its consequences awful in the extreme. Unbelievably it’s still in use in a supposed enlightened 21st Century.
The forcible takeover of anything will always have a backlash somewhere along the historical timeline. The evidence is non refutable that as superior powers push their weight around more and more, those on the receiving end of their uncaring kick stick, are beginning to pick up their own form of weaponry, ready able and inferior no more.
Fear is now being used globally, just as it has always been. Except it’s not just the oppressor whose hand is wielding its ugly power anymore. Those old and newly oppressed have learned the saddest lesson of all, revenge is all that’s left after all else has been taken.
When spears become spanners and clubs become hammers, such productive change in and of itself is not a problem. But when their forced change produces a displaced desperate state of being, it’s only a matter of time where being in a destructive state of revenge becomes the new global norm.
Observing whats real is becoming increasingly difficult. This site is my view, my perception and my commentary on what I believe to be real, from my own unique position.
